Staying mentally and socially active helps people living with dementia, maintain usual activities and mental well-being for longer.

Cognitive Stimulation Sessions, (C.S.T.) activate the mind and encourage meaningful interactions with others. This builds and strengthens brain cell connections helping to improve memory and quality of life for people with mild to moderate dementia

Sessions involve a range of social activities including:

  • sharing experiences
  • discussing current events
  • art
  • music
  • word games
  • physical games

The first session will be an introductory session for attendees and family/whanau. This is a FREE programme and registration is essential.
