Transitional Housing Service
Equip’s Transitional Housing Service is an accommodation service for adults aged 18 years and older who experience mental illness. The service is for individuals needing a place to live while our team help you source a permanent housing solution.
We support our clients spiritually, mentally and physically and offer a variety of services to suit their individual needs.
Assistance is given to help individuals manage their
wellbeing, as well as:

providing a room in a shared two-bedroom house

transitional house close to community amenities
i.e. shop, library, mall, bus routes -
providing all linen
-
providing support to find permanent accommodation
-
providing a tenancy reference for new landlords
-
independent living
-
WINZ assistance
Who is eligible?
Anyone over the age of 18 who has a mental health diagnosis such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety disorders, and is engaged with a clinical team.
