We’re incredibly proud and passionate about the community and positive change holistic, wrap-around mental health services foster for tangata whaiora and their whānau. Our dedicated kaimahi have helped tangata whaiora for over 30 years through specialised programmes and workshops both kanohi ki te kanohi (face to face) and online.

Mental Health First Aid Aotearoa

 

Mental Health First Aid Aotearoa New Zealand is an accredited programme adapted under license in New Zealand through Te Pou. Participants gain important skills and tools for identifying and helping those experiencing intense mental health challenges. There are two programmes that run through the year which covers Youth or Adults seperately.

Family / Whānau Support Programme

 

Family/Whānau Support is being offered to the families/whānau of individuals who experience mental illness.

Waves – Grief Programme

 

Waves is a free eight-week programme for adults bereaved by suicide. Sessions are delivered by trained facilitators in a safe and nurturing environment giving the opportunity to meet and share with others who are also experiencing the impact of suicide. Participants explore aspects of their grief and reduce isolation and stigma associated with bereavement by suicide, get information and strategies about how to care for themselves and others (including children and young people), adjust to living with loss and moving forward.
