World Suicide Prevention Day

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day
A day to remember those lost to suicide, and to support those who are bereaved. It is a day reminding us to ask others if they are okay, to listen, and let others know you care.

Guy Sebastian, talking about his song Standing With You, puts it well, “It’s a crazy time in the world, which is why it’s more important than ever to check in on the ones you love…. it’s not always about having the right thing to say, but showing them that you are there, standing with them in solidarity.” If you have not heard it, you can have a listen to the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xYGm0jgBcg
