ABOUT THE ROLES

The full-time and part-time vacancies are within the ‘Support Hours’ team, which provide mental health services to people living in the West Auckland, North Shore and Rodney communities. This is a hands-on role and includes coaching and mentoring of colleague Community Support Workers.

The Qualified Health Professional position entails mainly working from Monday to Friday, but a level of flexibility is required to work after normal business hours to meet the needs of service users.

You will have sound clinical judgement, strong leadership skills, be flexible, be able to cope with a busy workload, and have a ‘cool head’ when required. Having experience in working with Service Users in finding employment would be an advantage.



WHAT WILL I NEED?
  • To be a New Zealand Registered Occupational Therapist, Nurse, Social Worker or be DAPAANZ-registered. 
    Have a high level of empathy
    Have a passion for coaching and mentoring
    A genuine passion to work with people, being a good listener and communicator
    Be computer literate
    Be a NZ resident or have a valid NZ work visa
    Full NZ driver licence
    Be a team player who is self motivated and can work autonomously
