Rehabilitative support for people experiencing major mental disorders in the Central Auckland, North Shore, West Auckland and Rodney regions. 

 

The nature of the support is as follows:

  

Community Support

Helping individuals, aged 18 years or over, who experience major mental illness to find and maintain accommodation, work, hobbies and friendships.

 

Packages of Care

This is similar to Community Support however it is more intensive in support hours and also, as its name indicates, provides a wrap around range of services for individuals who have multiple needs.  Again, it is a service for adults 18 years or older.

 

Residential Support

This is a 24 hour service for adults, and Equip provides the accommodation and the support.  Services are based at Hillcrest and Red Beach.

 

Older Adults Community Support

Community support as described above for people who are over 65 experiencing major mental illness.

 

Caring for the Caregivers

Our newest service which provides group support to those that support and care for loved ones with mental illness.  Groups are determined by the age of the person you are supporting and there are three options:

• under 20 years
• between 20 and 35 years
• over 35 years 

 

Groups are based on the North Shore, in Rodney and West Auckland.
